I dunno...though I've heard it said that Pepsi has more than Coke. What is needed is an experiment. One could obtain some small balloons. Add a small amount (a few ounces--you may have to experiment to find the best quantity) of a soda to a container, and attach a balloon to it. Then wait until the soda goes flat (a day?). Do this for different types of soda. The volume of the gas released can be determined by immersing the balloon in water and noticing how much water was displaced.

Comment: The person who said that it's dependent only on temerature is wrong. Colder temperature does increase the solubility, but so does increased pressure. See:

Seltzer or Soda water.

There is a limit to how much carbonation can actually be applied to water. Added ingredients such as sugars, flavorings and colors reduce the capacity of the water to accept CO2 as an admixture.

All of the above are incorrect.....temperature is a factor, BUT....it is the producer of the soda that determines the amount of CO2 in the drink....you would have to do experiments on each drink to determine the answer.

the drink which has more carbontions is the drink kept at low temperature and high pressure
and i think you can also check it by simple test.you know that carbonated drink has acidc
nature due to carbondioxide's acidic nature so
you should tast some drink and then you will
guess it by sour tast. the more sour the more
carbonated drink it is.

My guess would be Diet Coke. Have you seen the videos where kids put Mentos into a Diet coke bottle? No other soda will give results as good.

Carbonation is dissolved CO2 gas. The colder the liquid the more gas can be dissolved. No brand has more , it is a temperature factor.
