Our local Unitarian Universalist fellowship is considering puting a notice in the newspaper to recognize all the various religious and secular holidays/celebrations in December. It's partly to remind people that Christmas isn't the only holiday in December.
I know of Bodhi Day, Christmas (Feast of the Nativity), Chanukah (Festival of Lights), HumanLight, Kwanzaa, Yule (Winter Solstice), and Eid al-Adha (Festival of Sacrifice). Did I miss any others?
Do you think there is any need to include the Feast Day for Saint Andrew, Advent Sunday, St. Nicholas Day, Saint Stephen's Day, and Childermas (Feast of the Holy Innocents)? Corrections? Suggestions?

Part of the reason for the ad is to educate people about the various holidays that fall within December this year. "To our Buddhist neighbors, we wish you a Happy Boddhi Day. To our Humanist neighbors, we wish you a Happy HumanLight." And so forth.
