honey where were you when I was preganant. We could have sat on the sofa and sobbed together while we watched the dust collect on the shelves in front of us.
I went through pregnancy hell. I was sick from day one. I threw up until just minutes before my son was born. I slept up to 20 hours a day the whole pregnancy. I was put on bedrest at 15 weeks even. I put on 11 lbs of fluid in a week. I was not keeping food down so I literally could not really hold my head up. But thankfully my hubby was VERY understanding. He took up cooking his own meals (since I wasn't eating), washing laundry, getting house ready for baby. Bless his heart he would warm baths for me and carry me in and lay me in there. I would NOT have made it through pregnancy without him.
You need to talk to hubby. I really hope you don't have this the whole time because it is YUCKY. Just ask hubby if he can just help a bit because you just aren't able. Express to him how you feel and the things that you would like help with.

I hear ya... I got put on bed rest, with strict directions not to get up and clean anything. My house is messy, my hair is yucky from lying on my left side all the time, I feel unattractive..... you name it. Suprisingly enough though, many men think pregnant chicks are sexy! I know hubby does, he won't leave me alone... can't have sex anyway, because I am high risk, but it is the thought that counts right? Just remember, he is going through this with you... so are all of the rest of us pregnant women. Most of us feel exactly the same at some point! But soon, you will have a teeny little baby to hug on and play with! I promise you will feel better then :-)

Rest...you feel like this because your body needs to rest. Be sure to do simple things like take a bath..( no shower if your dizzy).Make sure the hubby is home...in case you pass out!
If you really feel it is that important to clean up or do the chores...use the "swiss cheese" approach. Do little things for only 3-5 minutes at a time... if you do this off and on, by the end of the day you will be surprised at how much gets accomplished. If your a T.V. junkie...get up at every commercial and do a few dishes..sweep sections of the floor....it only takes about 3-4 minutes to load or unload a dishwasher.
Please don't feel like a bad wife ...simply because you are doing something your hubby will never be able to do...you're growing a baby!!!! Congratulations and don't beat yourself up!!!

your sex life will only get worse after you have the baby. You wont have anytime to have sex. and when you have time you will never be alone. and when you are alone and you have time you just wont have the energy! You'll get the lazy feeling. It's hard doing stuff when you have all that weight tide to you that your not used to. But just think you have a human being in your belly growing. and soon that baby will make you the happiest person in the world. yea you'll have your ups and downs. But you'll be a good mom!

I've been so lazy also since I got pregnant. I don't feel like doing anything at all. Since we are very close to having our babies about the same time maybe it runs in our blood. I am sure you are fine. :)
Also, I emailed you about my 17 weeks question! :)

It will be worth it. When you hold that little one in your arms for the first time, you will realize that you would gladly go through it all over again just for this moment. And about the time you come to this realization, the little guy will poop all over you.
