There have been several actors who've appeared in two trilogies...but these listed (aside from foreign film actors) are the only two who have been in more than two trilogies. While many consider Harrison Ford to be in 3 trilogies, they mistake the Tom Clancy roles as a trilogy when in fact Ford played the role of Jack Ryan in only two films, not three.

Ian McKellan was in Lord of the Rings and X-Men
Harrison Ford was in Star Wars and Indiana Jones
I can't think of anyone off the top of my head who has been in 3 or more.

i dunno if he was in the most trilogies, but when i hear 'trilogy', harrison ford comes to mind. i mean, he was in star wars and indiana jones. i know thats only two, but, come on, they're the only two that really count anyway, right?
