Ready to take the relationship to the next level? I have been seeing this WONDERFUL guy off and on for about two years now. We are very compatible together. We have a very strong bond with eachother but it has always remained casual between us. Not too long ago we began seeing eachother again and this time I am ready for it to be a more serious relationship (hopefully long term)

How do I let him know that without coming on to strong?
I care VERY much about him and I think the feelings are mutuial (just from little things he says / does)

What do you think?

If he cares about you then nothing will seem that strong. Usually though if guys want to make a commitment, they will be the one to tell you. Your happiness is on the line. If he is ready to commit, then he will. If he isn't ready then he won't and then you can make your decision as what to do, whether to move on or stick it out.

You might be in for a big surprise...he might feel the same way about you...try to plan something a little more intimate...like a movie just you and him and set the mood...make sure it is quiet place and just give him that "look" he will know especially if he likes you the same way he will react and say something about the moment...now if he gives you a look like what the heck is wrong with you? leave it alone and don't make a fool of yourself. You will know.

The best thing is to just come right out and say it... I don't understand why so many people have no clue how to do this. You certainly aren't alone but I for one say what is on my mind and pull no punches.

Best of luck to you on just getting it off your chest so you can move to the next level of this relationship!!

If I where you I would take it easy- not knowing how long you've been dating this time-He might be wondering the same thing- You could drop subtle hints such as asking about things in the future ( where do you want to live, pets, what he is going to do for a living etc.)

i think you should tell him, approach the conversation with caution, and if the feel is as you say "mutual" he won't think your coming on too strong. good luck
