I've been trying to get a straight answer out of Amazon.com regarding their policies on what they will and will not sell. After a couple of exchanges with Amazon (mine expressing my disgust that they have partnered with OJ Simpson to make money on his book about how he would have killed his children's mother and her friend 'IF' he had done it....and Amazon's canned, patronizing replies regarding free speech, etc.) they still won't answer my question: IF a person - highly suspected of forcing sex on children and killing them - wrote a book in graphic detail about how he would do that 'IF' he did it - would Amazon sell that? I am very puzzled about whether or not there are ANY boundaries at all regarding this issue.

Of course you can't answer for Amazon, but I am curious about your opinions on whether or not there should be boundaries on what is sold...aren't certain types of porn still illegal in some places? Does anyone know if there is a criteria for booksellers...do they have a board who decides what they will accept for sale?

Morally and ethically it would be wrong for a person to purchase such a book. There would have to be something morally wrong with you to contribute to OJ, let alone read the book. It may be free speech and he is entitled to that, but we don't have to support him. We only have to support his along with our constitutional right to free speech.

The problem with the death of the "mom and pop" stores is that they only thing that matters now is $$$$$$. So if people would buy it Amazon would sell it, after all they have to hit the numbers to keep investors happy.
If there was any question of his guilt before how could anyone doubt it now. What kind of person uses the murder of his x wife to make money? Horrible Horrible Hope it sells zero copies and that all the money hungry jerks involved in the publication process lose lots of money

I am in agreement with you reguarding OJ. I think it's sick, but unfortunately, companies like Amazone and others are usually out for themselves to make a dollar. That is why it is so important for us (people with brains!) to NOT buy crap like OJ's book, so they won't make that ever important dollar.

There are lots of people who would make fun of the possibility of changing their destinies. This is because it believes that nobody gets more that exactly what is put in his destiny.
