it depends on the "crime".
examples:
hitting/throwing- spanking on butt
cursing- pop in the mouth
forgetting manners- pop on leg
fighting- hard spanking
arguing w/ you- pop in mouth and spanking on butt
other- Whatever you feel is right

strict punishement when needed and sticking with it and knowing when to go easy and bend the rules. kids are kids..
