It's almost always a government service, either on phone or in person. Single worst was probably at the Texas DMV. People there just don't care and excell at ignoring people.
Post office would be second.

my apt complex, when i wanted to upgrade to a 2-bedroom apt from 1-bdrm.
The lady took me and my friend outside very begrudgingly, said that the room would not be available to show before it got snatched up by some other person, and she didn't even use the sidewalks. we mucked through the mud to get there. Then she just disappeared and we had to wander back to the rental office. She didn't acknowledge our presence and kept changing her story about which apartments were open.
it turned out she had absolutely no idea what she was talking about, when I talked to another person there. Pretty much everything that came out of her mouth was wrong about the apartment, including the floorplan, the price, the available date. And this was several different apartments that she was wrong about!

There is a video game store here in Colorado called Play-and-Trade. We were having some problems with our PS2 so I took it there to have it repaired. The manager told me it would take about 5 or 6 days to order the part and repair the PS2...I waited a week and called the store, and he appologized because he'd forgotten to order my part...I'm a patient man so I waited another week before I called...this time he'd ordered the part but he was backed up in his repairs so it would be another 3 or 4 days.
I waited 4 days again and this time when I called he apologized because the store had been broken into and my PS2 had been stolen, but he assured me that the stores insurance would cover me and I'd be recieving a brand new unit in just 30 days. I told him that I appreciated that I was going to get a new unit, but would he be able to give me a loaner unit in the mean time...he told me to check back in a few days...after I'd waited another 3 days I called and found out he had a loaner unit for me, but when I got it home it was a broken unit.
All this time I'd been very patient and non-confrontational with the situation, but I was starting to get frustrated.
I manged to get the loaner unit to work if I tipped it over on its side, but it made a terrible noise while you used it, but at least I was going to get a brand new unit at the end of the month.
When the end of the month came I went to pick up my new PS2 and the manager handed me a used refurbished unit. I objected because he'd assured me that it would be a brand new unit this whole time. He told me I should just be grateful for what I had...I went home, flabergasted at his attitude. When I'd calmed down a bit I called the store and asked for the owners address so that I could write a letter of complaint. The manager became extremely escelated and told me if I had something to say I'd better come down and say it to him. I hung up and about 10 minutes later the manager called me at home because he wanted to give me a piece of his mind.
needless to say I've never set foot in this store again. and never will

New Orleans Sewerage and Water Board. Was trying to get my water turned on and stood at the window for about 7 minutes before the girl at the window even acknowledged my existence. She was too busy talking to her girlfriend to help me. This was after I had spent 2 hours waiting to be called. New Orleans is the home of the bad attitude and the "entitlement" mentality.

sprint everytime I have to call them over my phone bill, other than that at Target when I bought a t.v.-- the security guard so me go through the check out, saw me put my receipt in my purse and as I was walking out with the heavy thing in my hand he asked to see my receipt. I was totally ticked so I showed him the receipt then walked straight over to customer service to return it b/c of the way I was treated. I think just because I am younger he assumed I stole it... so guess what, went right across the street to Walmart and purchased one there

Bad customer services is EVERYWHERE. I call businesses for work and the secretaries are ALWAYS very rude and nosy. I've even been hung up on by them and these are companies across the nation, so rudeness is widespread. I don't understand how they even still have jobs!

I ordered a hamburger @ Burger King and after getting to our table, discovered it was supposed to have cheese on it. So took it back to the cashier, she went in the back to talk with someone (probably another cashier) then overheard her say "just give the b**tch her hamburger. Nice attitude.

I went to IHOP in NJ and it took the server 15 minutes to even come out. Then when he does he tells us the reason why he did'nt come out sooner is because he did'nt know he had a table, he was in the back smoking. He got our order wrong, our glasses were dirty and there was hair in the food. My cousin then asked for a milk shake and the waiter replied " aww man, you are gonna make me make you a milk shake." By the time the check came I was to ready to leave. I paid ,left him a tip of $2.00 and was out of there. Ihop by rutgers university, across from target in NJ. DOOOOOOOOOOOOO NNNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOTTTTTTTTT GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
