I am taking 75 music students in grades 6-8 on a field trip, and we have the option of seeing this show. I've never heard of it before - can someone tell me about it and if it is appropriate for middle school kids? I can tell from their website that is it about Elvis Presley, obviously.

I think it is appropriate for kids of that age.

The basic premise of the show is that there is a town that is very "square" and boring and then "The Roustabout" (elvis..) shows up and gets people to be a little more lively and colorful!

There is also the theme of love blossoming between several people, but there is nothing graphic or inappropriate.

The music is fun and I think they would like it.
