I was quite impressed compared to their usual stuff which was average. Ayone agree/disagree?

"mediocre"!?!?!?!?!?! "average"?!?!?!?!!?!? how could u?! green day is the best band ever, and anything but average!!! i feel insulted! and jesus of suburbia is a great song, but so is all their others!!!! how dare you!

I hate it!!! I mean I know that wake me up when september ends is like 7 minutes but for me jesus of suburbua lasts way TOO long. I am sick of it. It is not ambitious is Boring. And I like Greenday, but I hate the song.

I like that song. I like American Idiot. It's very rock opera-ish. A nice throw-back to Pink Floyd's 'The Wall'. But Greenday is a very mediocre band.

It's one of my favorite song by one my favorite bands. It was quite unique, yes, but Green Day is unique. The way the words form a song is intresting.

i totally disagree.i mean its your opinion and you're entitled to it but Green Day are one of the most influential bands of their genre/time!
ok at times their songs havent been the most meaningful but this just goes to show they have matured greatly and to take on a task such as American idiot and Jesus of Suburbia and complete it with such success speaks volumes about their musicianship.

Video is great! Like the whole AI album.. Fave is 'boulevard of broken dreams'.. has a speshul resonance for me.
Btw don't you think he bears a spooky 'semblance to Pete Doherty? have you ever seen them together??

it is so good and the words of song are so interessant.first part is about jesus and the words aren't good for this subject.i love greenday but this song made me think about something

it is my fave greenday song! when i saw them at milton keynes and this came on i nearly cried...i think its fantastic. hits the nail directly on the head.
