Hey guys, Ive been surfin the net and im only finding partial info on what im looking for. id like to know where i stand as an adult now.

You can:
Vote
Join the military without anyone else's permission.
Live where you choose.
Sign binding contracts.
Keep your own earnings.
Buy, sell, lease, or give away any interest you have in real or personal property.
Get a job without parental consent.
Enroll yourself in school.
Quit school.
Sue someone in your own name.
Make a valid will.
Consent to your own medical, dental, and psychiatric care.
Be subject to the death penalty in jurisdictions that have it with no legal wrangling.
Be responsible for supporting yourself, all by yourself.

You can't buy alcoholic beverages in most of the US, although you can buy tobacco products. You're still too young to run for president.

All the guides I found are written for people in specific states. There's almost certainly one available for your state, although it may not be one of the ones I found. The PDFs are the most complete ones, and they don't take long to load.

Look up the term adult!

If you want to go farther, read the Constitution and the Bill of Rights! If you want to know where much of that came from, read the Magna Carta!

What do you want to know? You can look up the statutes from your state usually on your state bar web site.
