how can a doctor or gynecologist tell if i girl is a virgin or not(besides seeing if the hymen is there)?????

Short of testing for semen or dna, etc, or unless you have a sexually transmitted disease, a doctor can't tell, unless there is noticeable damage to the vagina and/or surrounding area. A broken or torn hymen does not signify loss of virginity in all women. Some girls break their hymens by using tampons, which is ok, and normal. However, you should be completely and totally honest with your physician and notify him when you become sexually active. It is for your own safety and good health. Once sexual activity begins, it's important to receive certain regular gynecological exams to maintain good health!

There is no way to tell.
Even if the hymen is torn, it doesn't definitely mean the woman is not a virgin.
If it is directly after sex or a rape, a doctor may be able to tell if there is vaginal trauma.
But otherwise, just take the woman's word.

I honestly do not think that doctors have any idea about that. The only way you can find out is if she is honest and tells you the truth.

The size of the vaginal opening is something else that a doctor will look for. After sex, the opening will have changed.

they can't really, there may be plenty of reasons for your hymen to have gone. and besides, it's confidential so who can they tell?

they can usually tell and if you are under 18 they can tell your parents
