Two lines means positive. It doesn't matter how faint or dark they are. Pregnancy tests work on HCG, a hormone that is ONLY produced when you are pregnant. If the line is there, so is the hormone.
She is SO young, that she really needs to see a doctor for an ultrasound. They'll be able to tell if the pregnancy is viable or not.

Yes she could be but not likely. You pass an egg into the uterus to incubate before you even have your first period. The brownish red is old blood, and may be from the trauma of having sex so young. Please tell your mother and get her to a doctor. Your mother needs to put a stop to the both of you having sex you are much too young.
If your mother will not stop the sex then go to another adult or the police. You and your sister need to protect your yourselvs so you will have a good life. Babies can wait.

My guess would be she is most likely pregnant. When I took my pregnancy test - on the box it said that it doesnt matter if the lines are faint or strong.. either way your pregnant. Combine the positive test with the symptoms -- she is going to be having a baby in 9months. Very sad, waaaaay to young... baby having baby. I would have her make an appt. with the doctor asap.

If not, as a birthmom I am here to talk to you if you decide to consider adoption for your babies. I've been through giving a baby up, and it's tough, but it's also worth it. Mine is an open adoption, so I still get to see my daughter, and she knows I'm her mother. She was even the flower girl in my wedding 4 years ago.
Regardless, both of you need to stop having sex. Wait until you are married. I sure wish I had.

If there were two lines and they were as dark as what you say then there is a high chance that she could be pregnant. I would schedule a appointment to see a doctor to get a blood test done. especially with her age she needs to be seen by a doctor to make sure that she is pregnant or is not.

WOW i don't know what to say but you know you both are probably going through alot so I'm not going to be mean but yeah it sounds like she is pregnant it wouldn't hurt to go take her to a doctor and i know you might not want to hear this but have you ever thought of putting you baby up for adoption i think would be best for you and your babies i know you will always love your baby but i would really look into it there are alot of people in this world that cant have babies like me and my husband so this is just something for you both to think about best of luck to you both and your mom don't listen to the other people just do what you think is right and maybe next time think before you have unprotected sex

At least your mom knows. Yes it is possible to get pregnant so young. And yes, you only have to do it one time to get pregnant, and it could indeed be the first time she ovulated. Your first few periods when you start could be that brownish colour, it takes a few months for your body to get working. She could also have sore breasts from the hormones of course, but yes, she could indeed be pregnant. It's terrible I know, but if your mom is so supportive already, then she is in safe hands. Give her all the love you can, she's going to need it .

Yes you taught your little sister well, she's pregnant too. The darker one today is probably because she used her morning urine which contains more of the hormone. Just out of curiosity, where was your mother when you two were getting knocked up? I'm a mother of three daughters and I'd really like to know how BOTH of you managed to do this? You've both ruined your lives and those of your children.....I'm so sorry to hear this.

Yes it sounds very much like she is pregnant. Take her to the doc. Have a Blood test to make sure. An to both of you .. use a Condom !! Not being mean , just passing some info !!

Yes, of course she could be pregnant...any time you have sex, even if you're using protection, you can get pregnant!
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE go to the doctor. If your mother knows about it, there is no reason why your sister isn't seeing a professional about this POTENTIALLY LIFE THREATENING situation. At only 12, her body is not really ready for this, and she is also at high risk for the baby having problems (you must know this yourself, if you have seen a doctor, also).
We all make mistakes in life, and have to deal with them. Being pregnant doesn't make her a bad person, just a young person who made a mistake.
