Yes, it is a good score. It is above average. The range from 85 to 115 is low average to high average. Remember though that if it came from an on line test they score higher than the real IQ tests. An IQ score is only a number. It is not who you are. Much more important than your IQ score is how you use it.

An IQ score doesn't really say how smart someone is; it tells how well they did on a single test. There are many facets of intelligence, and IQ tests only address some of them.
That said, 133 is a very good score. "Average" IQ is considered to be 100, regardless of your age. About two-thirds of all people have IQs between 85 and 115 (one standard deviation either side of the mean), while 95% are between 70 and 130 (two standard deviations either way). If your score of 133 is accurate, that would put you in the top 2.5% of all people. I say "if it's accurate" because a lot of time people will throw around scores from tests they took online, which are notoriously inaccurate. Online tests of any sort are generally just for fun. If you really want to know an accurate assessment of your IQ, have a psychologist give you a test or ask your school counselor to see if you've already taken one that may be in your school records.

Mine's I20 and I'm 13. It could be a lot better; I suppose, but I always seem to fail on the number sequence questions. ONLY 133? Seeing as most people have an average of 100; that's probably outstanding. I just looked up the scale and you're far, far above average. I do however agree that people with higher IQs tend to disregard those asking questions which are merely for the fun of it, as they take most things seriously.

If you got the number from a web based test then the result is skewed because of your sex and age:
"Psychology Today" magazine has an on-line IQ test you can do that has "....been designed and built by highly qualified Psychiatrists with unrivalled experience."
http://www.psychologytoday.com/pto/self_tests.php?cat=IQ
Pick the "Classic IQ test"
They say they are using the results for "research" purposes (you can give them permission to use your results or not). Be warned though, if at the end of the test, and before you get your results, you say that you're male you will be penalized 6 points! It's not a peer reviewed journal but is it still a serious science publication? Apparently so according to their own mission statement which states their staff "...include individuals who have extensive expertise in the field of psychology, both from a clinical and an academic perspective. Many of our articles are written by, and rely upon information provided by, Doctors and Ph.D.'s who have dedicated their professional lives to the promotion of sound psychology.." ( http://www.psychologytoday.com/pto/about.html )
Is this more offensive to men or women? And also when they publish the results do you think they'll publish the fact that they sexually biased their results?
Try it. After you get your results back click and change your sex then "get results" again. You'll be amazed at your fluctuating IQ

If you really had an I.Q. of 133, you'd know it's good. Jokin'. Yeah that's pretty high. Unless you got it off sparknotes, because that isn't entirely trustworthy. I got an I.Q. of 128 and then on the test the school counselor made me take (I was 14 at the time, now 15.) I got 148, so make sure it's acurate.

Yes, 133 has you in the "superior" range, which is the top 20% of the population. 131 and above is superior. Average runs between 100-123. Bright-normal runs 124-131.

It's good. 145 is genuis. Your IQ won't change much with your age though because the test takes your age into account.

Yes, that is a very good thing. You are in the third standard deviation above "normal", which means you're pretty smart. That doesn't make you wise though. Only time can do that.
