Has anyone heard of the intel microsoft letter? It must be a scam or is it?

If its one of those letters that promises something if it gets sent to so many people then yes its a scam. They also usually say its a marketing campaign and give a persons name and phone or e-mail address to verify it. There all scams. Sorry
