Every month, my period has run like clockwork. It comes between 6 and 6:30am, the day that it's due every month. I'm a week and a day late. My fiance and I always use protection, but not always correctly. I've taken two home pregnancy tests, and they both turned out negative. Unfortunately, they were left in my car for a week, and I'm afraid the cold could've damaged them. I don't have medical insurance, and I don't have any symptoms of pregnancy, at least that I know of. I have an okay diet, I get plenty of exercise, and a good night's sleep every night. I've been under tons of stress before this month, and my period always came like the sun rises. I have frequent migraines, and I went on a new diet pill about 3 weeks ago. I've quit them the day before my period was due, and the kidney pain that I was having prior to starting the pills, has returned. My blood sugar has been crazy since then too.

I hope I'm not pregnant. I pray that I am not. If anyone has advice, I appreciate it.

do not go to planed parenthood. there are many things that can cause the problem that you are having. ranging from having sex to an infection, to pregnancy, to just a very simple diet change. If you are more than a month late you can go to your local health department and they can help give you an answer to why your cycle is late. Your sugar levels can also effect your cycle. My doctor told me that you can miss up to 3 cycles an be ok. And if you take another test in a fue weeks it will be more accurate because you will have more pregnancy hormone in your system. And please remember that the only safe sex is no sex, even though it will be hard to abstain you might like to think about it. http://www.ccli.org can give you an alternative to the standard birth control that will not have ANY side effects and is very accurate. I have used this method for 5 years now and have had the results that I desired. I wish you the best of luck and will pray for you. Chris

if you are hopeing and praying you are not pregnant you should be making sure you are useing proper protection. yes..you could be pregnant and just don't have enough hcg hormone in your urine yet. you could buy another test but take it with first morning urine it tends to have the highest levels of hcg. if it is still neg. you might have to break down and go to a local clinic. good luck
