its pissing me off, ill jus try 2 change th song an it will freeze, its a creative zen sleek, ne 1 no whts wrong w/ it

If that's a model with a hard drive, move all the songs off onto your computer. Then defrag the drive. Load the songs back on and see if that helps.

i have a gateway photo mp3 player. mine did that too. i thought it was because i had too many files on it, so i took them off and it still froze, so i chopped it up to the battery, but i havent replaced it because i cant find it, anyway check the battery. i charged it fully and everything. it would play for a little bit and then freeze.

try pausing any song that is playing before doing anything else, if that doesnt work i would by another media player, as much as you might hate it.
