Go-to Start, Programs or All Programs, then accessories and calculator should be there. Right click it and select create short cut, right click the shortcut it creates and drag it to the desktop and rename it by right clicking and selecting rename if necessary. Also if you have quick launch you can drag that shortcut to the quick launch toolbar. If you don't have quick launch toolbar you can get it by right clicking an empty area on the task-bar and go to toolbars and enable quick launch. Also if you download the Yahoo Widgets Engine you can find some calculators there as well.

Depending on which Windows you are using...
Easiest is :
Start - Run, and then type, calc - Enter
That is the fastest way to get to you calculator...If you do want it on your Desktop, you'll find it in your start menu under accesories, or if not, under C:\WINDOWS\system32 .
Hope this solves you question!
