You have raised the million dollar question of the day....
After just reading an article about shootings, muggings and robberies that stem from the release of the Play-station3...
It truly makes me wonder about the future state of social order...
Is this and worse, what good citizens have to look foward to in the new millenium?
The issue you have raised far exceeds the mere idleness of adolescent minds.
When I come to the table here at "Yahoo answers" and ask questions, I am greatly dismayed with the unethical indiffrence by so many.
Not withstanding that I have encountered some intelligent beings here but, also some very brash mentalities as well.

I am 46 years of age and have seen the ill-effects of Viet Nam, the Civil Rights struggle and now the increasing gun-play in Iraq and our city streets.
The depraved indifference to human life.
Many who follow the political sound-bytes yet, fail to acknowledge facts tend to believe that collateral damage is acceptable long as they themselves are not the victims.
I read a book a few yeas ago by Sissila Bok "A strategy for Peace"...
The most stunning passage she wrote was" Those that can get you to believe absurdities, can get you to commit atrocities"...
Bush proved her right....
In summation; collectively it is far over-due for a social over-haul from government, to the suburbs and the city.
We all have a responsibility to correct the fallacies not just point fingers.
Not just minorities are the epitome of what is wrong in America look at the incidents at Collumbine and the recent shooting of the young girl not far from there a couple of months ago...
Todays youth are the product of an over-all failing.
Solidarity to "America the Beautiful"?
Proud to be a Hippie and a free thinker, I'm not a Yuppi....
