I was dating this girl who was separated, she decided to go back down to Georgia rekindle her flames with her "ex"-she remembered how much of a jerk he was so she came running back to me. She came back, ended up she's pregnant and was saying "it's for sure yours"-later in June, she went down there again after I pampered her for the three months she was back, at that point, I learned she cheated twice, once in June, once in January, so I was completely done. She moved back up here, had the kid on Oct. 28 and is now threatening to move down to Georgia to be with her supposed to be ex. So far, she's here, the kid's here, no DNA test yet, question is, can she leave the state not knowing the fatherhood of the child? And what are my rights being minnesota has this thing against people with a penis rasing a child? I'm the only one mentally stable out of all three of us.

GO TO FAMILY COURT FIRST. REQUEST THE DNA TEST. IF IT'S NOT YOUR KID THEN NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT. IF IT IS START CUSTODY PROCEEDINGS. GET AN INJUNCTION FROM THE COURT BARRING HER FROM LEAVING THE COUNTY WITH THE CHILD WITH OUT YOUR PERMISSION. IT WILL BE AN UPHILL FIGHT BUT IF YOU CAN PROVE THAT SHE IS UNSTABLE AND IS IN NO WAY CAPABLE OF CARING FOR THE CHILD YOU MIGHT HAVE A SHOT. A LITTLE ADVICE ONCE A CHICK CUTS OUT TO ANOTHER STATE DON'T TAKE HER BACK. DOCUMENT ALL OF HER CRAZINESS. GOOD LUCK.

YOU CAN STOP HER FROM LEAVING BUT YOU HAVE TO PROVE THAT IT'S YOUR CHILD AND THAT THE CHILD WILL BE BETTER OFF WITH YOU IN IT'S LIFE.
I DID IT TO MY EX WIFE. SHE WANTED TO MOVE TO SOUTH CAROLINA AND A JUDGE IN NYC BARED HER FROM MOVING WITH MY KIDS. SHE WAS TOLD THAT SHE COULD MOVE BUT THAT THE CHILDREN WOULD HAVE TO STAY IN NYC. NEEDLESS TO SAY WE STILL DON'T TALK TO EACH OTHER. (7YEARS) AND I KICK UP 1K PER MONTH IN CHILD SUPPORT. BUT MY KIDS ARE WITH ME EVERY WEEKEND AND 1 MONTH IN THE SUMMER.

Unless there's a court order requiring her to stay in the state, they're her children (whoever the father may be), and she's free to take them where she wishes.

dna tests and lawyers are what you need -- i don't think a judge will view her as a fit parent. they look for things like stability and she is obviously lacking that.
