One mum wont be going to Iceland ever again.
After being a loyal customer for over 20 years when Iceland was first called Beejam My wife and I will never set foot inside the place again, infact we havent since June this year, reason being, after all the money we spent on food over the years, buying fridges and freezers etc and their extended warrantys, my freezer that was under warranty but only had about 4 days left but I was going to renew it. As I am disabled, the ladies at the appliance desk took all my details down and if I have a prob they will get an engineer to call, all went well until my handle broke and a small fault, I called my store and a new guy was working in the dep't to cut a long story short, he said he would sort it out for me, I left it with him. Next thing the warranty expired I heard nothing from him and when I did he first denied talking to me then told me he couldnt do anything and that I should contact Iceland, both Iceland and their warranty dept washed their hands on the matter as my warranty was now out of date, even though I reported the fault before it expired. I sent Iceland an email an said dont lose a customer over a job that will cost them pennies, but what I got from Iceland for being a loyal customer spending a few thousand pounds through the years and recommending them to my family and others, more or less they said tough s..t m8
So I dont care how cheap their food is, I will never ever set foot in that place again. Store involved is Clacton on sea Essex.

The mums that go to Iceland are mums who don't give a damn about their kids, and wanna get the quickest, easiest meal possible that'll keep them quiet. Heaven forbid a parent should cook a proper meal OOOOOH no!!!
The only thing Iceland is good for is its prices on the following:
Cheese
Orange squash
Baked beans
Fresh chicken breast

And thats it...

Also, if Iceland is made for mums, why on this earth do they not sell nappies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

because unfortunatly the majority of people who do the weekly shopping are infact mothers and so the adverts are aimed at them! Its stupid really but its like the mac 3 razor aimed at men but i have one to shave my legs with!

hate those adverts - why is it "mums" and if you are not a mum, should you not go to Iceland? The real meaning behind it is if you are a mum you will have absolutely no cash whatsoever and will only be able to buy cheap frozen rubbish.

In the pub, where they belong.....

Men are useless at shopping and as such most of the shopping is done by the hyper-efficient women of the world - so the advertising is aimed at it's target audience.

Just have a quick head count next time your in Tesco's.....

No idea why moms go to Iceland, probably for convenience foods, my hubby loves shopping so we go to Asda, as there are more single fathers than ever before these days I find it amazing that they only seem to think its women who shop.
