He has a rare dieseas in 2 of his legs. The doctor can't do anything. He said to just leave him be, but he will be in pain. I want to end his life quickly and painlessly so he does not suffer anymore.

I think rat poison is fairly painless.

First off, never buy a pet you can't SPELL.
Second, show him HAROLD & MAUDE. There are at least 5 or 6 suggested ways to commit suicide in that movie.
Third, give him a little shot glass, a bottle of Wild Turkey and play some country music.

This is going to sound weird and maybe extreme, but a couple suggestions ;rat poison in his food,it's not as bad as it sounds. think it would do the job and rather quickly. Maybe a guy friend could use a sledge hammer, he would never see it coming and it would be instant.Poor little guy would never know what hit him. or maybe you could talk to his doctor, and let him know it breaks your heart to see him in so much pain, ask him to please take him and do whatever he thinks is best. Oh, sorry about your gerbil .What ever you decide I know is out of love, and thats tough

placed the sick animal in a small container which could be sealed. hit upon a hose that may hook up with the motor vehicle exhaust pipe and run it into the container. initiate Run the motor vehicle for 10-quarter-hour the motor vehicle with the exhaust going into the container. verify the container sometime later. My acquaintances did this while that they had deformed kittens born. Little animals do no longer stay very long, do they? Sorry you experience you may desire to intrude. it won't be able to be hassle-free.

Sadly the best thing to do is to put him down. Have the vet perform it and his suffering will end. I wish there was more that could be done. Good Luck.

Hit him on the back of the neck with a pipe or something of that caliber. It's fast and painless. Or you could spend a .22 shell and shoot the poor thing.

Have the vet euthanize it. If you do anything, you might mess up and make things worse for the poor thing.

Just take him outside and throw him against a tree... he will die, but it will be quick.. and then no more pain for poor little gerbal
