It's got to be my favorite show right now; great writng and great acting, but was anyone else bothered by those BLATANT ads for Hooters and Staples? Having a can of Coke or an HP monitor show up on camera is one thing, but to look directly at the camera and say there are 400 Hooter restaurants nationwide bothered me. It ruined a perfectly good joke about the breast pump in the office. I know it's the networks response to Tivo, but they don't have to be so "in your face" about it. Anyone else agree, or am I too sensitive to the whole advertising thing. Also, does anyone else think Jim's new girlfriend is hot? She's waaaaaaaaay better than Pam.

Usually I'm just aware of product placement, but last night's episode was annoying. I love this show, and I didn't even mind that Kevin was showing off the Staples shredding machine. But when they then had Staples commercials on with the exact same shredding machine . . . it was just too much.

The other thing that was weird was the announcer annoucing the new Ellen DeGeneres commercial for American Express. That was beyond weird.

The person is having a response to toomuch pig manure/dung and it has brought on all of the stipulations he's having including a replicate syndrome which explanations him to behave just like the alpha person within the room or dominant character within the room, specifically condo. As for the plotline, this season is especially focsed on getting the tea again together, which has individuals revealing little bits of themselves to look if they may be able to possibly usurp one of the vital 4 and end up their successors. As I recollect it, he best used the Survivor comic story once when he pulled out the bunsen burners and had a fireplace ceremony. He has used the "giant Love" comic story some distance more as a rule than that. He did "The Bachelor" thing as soon as giving out a flower to each and every person he saved. He is still doing the sexist factor. He is nonetheless doing the religious factor difficult God. He did the Apprentice thing dividing the teams into boy girl in the beginning. But,now that Foreman is again that you can count on Chase and Cameron to get guilted into rejoining the group very quickly. I figure Case will succumb first being as he's the one most like apartment, taking bets on who will get fired next and then rigging the sport so that he wins all of the money and splits it with condo. I admire the fact that Foreman not only figured it out however that he made the patient go without cure in order that he would work out who would win Cuddy or apartment. Once more he's becoming house. Cameron will be the last to totally recognize this but she is going to in general get a patient that needs condo and must supply in to the temptation to resolve the big mystery. But the answer to your first query was once a toxic level of publicity to pig manure poisoning, (Methane and micro organism) within the man's blood circulation.

I didn't notice Hooters because the guys are always messing around about it, but I did notice the bright red Staples logo on the shredder, followed by the ad for it. It was kind of blatant the way the Staples logo on the show's shredder was bright red, but on the real one, it's gray, so that was too obvious.... reminded me a little of The Apprentice. I hope this sort of product placement doesn't become the norm.

I love the Office! Jims new girlfriend annoys the hell outta me. I hope he and Pam go out someday. I think that this last episode was one of the best ones this season so far.

If u r a fan of the show then u have to be ready for anything with that crew they have . Michael is so non-PC and so the show pushes the envelope in all areas, even shameless plugs.

ALL ads are "blatant"

That is the point, to get your attention. I just channel surf during commercials so I never pay attention I guess.

Try it, it's less irritating than "blatant" ads.
