We've been able to rid our place they seem to thrive in and around the microwave - any advice would be appreciated.

My dad used a detergant called Borax I think. He sprinkled it on the counter tops each night and then would wipe it off in the morning. They will eat it and die and then the other roaches will eat their corspes and die too. When I was little we lived in a duplex and our neighbors had roaches and they infested our place as well. With the Borax my dad killed ours and their roaches.

Get fumigators in to pesticide the whole of the house. Regardless of where the coakroaches are. The fact that they focus on the microwave probably means that they are attracted to the food. Keep things scurpulously clean until you get rid of them all.

I've never heard of cockroaches in a microwave. I'd probably never use it again. Hate to say it, but they may have laid eggs in there somewhere. You can either clean it out THOROUGHLY or get a new one. Me personally, I wouldn't even hesitate to get a new one. They are not that expensive nowadays.

If they are in and around the microwave, then they are still in your home. You might be better off to throw the micro away and buy a new one. Try spraying up in and underneath of it in any nooks and crannies.

Use bay leaves. Put them in and around the microwave. I swear it works, and it is safe for kids and animals. You can find the whole bay leaves in the spice section. You want the freshest they have, they will be the strongest.

i`ve heard that their the only thing to survive a nuclear blast, all they do is eat and lay eggs if you have one you have a thousand and so do your neighbours. Even with fuemagation they will still come back because the ones that dont die will scurry to get out of the building go to the next nearest establishment,If i were you i would move somewhere else, and leave your furniture.

GOOD LUCK !!!!!!!!!!!!!

You need to get yourself a new microwave. If its infested, you are never going to completely get rid of them.
