I can't see it myself...surely If you want to get to a particular height, just use a step ladder - you can then stay at that desired height without gravity making you waste all that energy...

If it is the thrill that you are missing, why not just go up another couple of steps?

The trampoline was designed by a man suffering from a long-term serious bout of ennui. He invented the trampoline so he could invite all the ladies in his neighborhood over for a backyard barbeque and put this device to use so that he could test the laws of gravity (and for his own entertainment purposes). ;)

I used one recently to see how well a bra made from cabbage leaves would fare when put to the ultimate test. I need to know I'm well supported when I go and ride the horses, all that up and down, jiggling about, can be quite fearsome!. I'm glad I used the trampoline test, the cabbage didn't do too well, though it may have had something to do with the spaghetti straps!...

Its like a rush of knowing that you are free falling in air for a few seconds. Each high jump in like a mini sky dive. You can get to people to jump and fall backwards at the same time. If one person hits the trampoline slightly before the other, you get bounced in the air by force. It is also easier to turn flips.

The point is they give a simple feeling of euphoria as the brain gets confused with its surroundings changing heights, just like how children enjoy spinning round to make them selves dizzy

I think they were invented by doctors many many years ago, to get more clients.
Lets face it...havent we all at one time played on one...only to find yourself mid air, with no control over where your going and then it happens...you land spread eagled on those nasty springs, and its even worse if your naked...one could loose alot of pubes that way...
Summersaults that leave you flying into the neighbours fence, doing noting for your ego but leaving you with broken bones and bruises....
They say sex on them is good...I tried it once...the static electricity that builds up was enough to power a small nation for a year, and lets just say aiming that at a certain part of a mans body will be leaving you nookieless for a long while...

Personally I think they are torture devices...made to make us all look like idiots!

I am not sure.. but I love them. I think it's the feeling that you get as you are falling. Of course back flips and bounces are fun too. Man... I wish I had a back yard with a trampoline in it.

A few mor steps can be good but they can also be bad. The thrill is what you want but you don't always get what you want. Obsticles stand in the way.

To prove the theory: What goes up ...must come down...must go back up again...must come down...

Hehhhhhhhh I can think of something else that proves that theory too....more fun than a trampoline...then again you might be able to do both at the same time.........hmmmmm

The can be used to maintain a healthy bowel, similar to riding a horse.

Don't forget to install a safety bar !

The point is to make your backyard look as redneck as the late 70's beater on blocks makes the front.
