My husband has degenerative disc in his neck area. He had two surgeries (neurosurgery) and still deals with the pain on a daily basis. He is now on long term disability.
As a result of the degenerative disc, he has pinched nerves in the neck area. The pinched nerves cause his arms to tingle a lot. He has lost his hand grip. He drops things a lot.
He has learned a lot about these things on www.spineuniverse.com. My best advice to you is to see a doctor. Good luck.

I would highly recommend that you go for 'Nework Care'. ... This is an extremely progressive form of chiropractic that does not involve bone cracking adjustments. It is extremely gentle and yet profoundly more effective. Network 'allows' your nervous system to clear traumas in a very natural and non-invasive way. This is how true healing process works. .. If you're interested, here is a web site that provides more info. and a directory of practitioners within the states: http://www.associationfornetworkcare.com/

Look for a physical therapist that does manual manipulation. They are much better than a chiropractor. Hands for Health is in St. Peters, MO if you live close #314-636-397-2784. I know how painful it is, so I wish you a speedy recovery!

I would guess you have cervical stenosis. That is where calcium has grown in the foramen that allow the neurons of the neck to control your hands, arms, chest and etc. Or it could be caused by a slipped disc. Hope that helps you?
