Why do people order a DIET coke with a supersized big mac extra value meal??

well they fell they have to do something with the extra wait with a diet coke but they forget about the 2500 cal. in a meal like macdonalds supersized bigmac

As someone else said - because of the taste - I always get diet coke because I am diabetic. If I drink regular coke now it doesn't taste right to me.

That bugs me too! I suppose either it's a preference thing, diet gone horribly wrong or they want to save the calories on their coke for a triple thick milkshake or a soft serve...?

At least for me, coke taste like syrup and suger, which is pretty much all it is, and diet coke is a lot better.... so its not for fats, its for taste! Why eles would they be at a fast food place?

Habit...they are trying to save calories somewhere. Funny huh? Anyway they don't taste any difference with diet cola anyway.

Because regular soft drinks are too sweet. Also, ANYTHING you can do to reduce sugar intake helps, even when ordering super sized meals.
