Yes, cods have livers and cod livers are processed to make cod liver oil, an important source of Vitamin A, Vitamin D and omega-3 fatty acids (EPA and DHA).
Cod have liver located around the stomach which secretes bile and emulsifiers which are then carried to the intestine to aid in fat digestion.♥

Yes.
Just like the livers of persons, it's where they process a lot of fat, and store a lot of fat-soluble vitamins.
That's why Cod Liver Oil contains lots of Vitamin A (although Halibuts have even more).
