Is there anything I should know about having sex with my girlfriend while she's in her period? Besides the fact that it's messy? And yes, we wear protection, and no, we don't need a lecture about sex. I just want to know if there are any dangers besides getting pregnant or getting messy.

It's OK to have sex when your girlfriend is having her period. A lot of women actualy feel more inclined to have sex during that monthly time. Just make sure to put something underneath so that the bed sheets don't get all messy and stained ... and keep using condoms.

There isn't nothing wrong with sex while she is on her cycle.
Like mentioned before, it can get quite messy. There will be a stinch.
Make sure you have some water-based lube. There will be more friction and she will not be as lubricated as normal.

Even if you are wearing protection it still does not protect her from endometriosis because the penis pushes all the uterine lining around and forces it to go outside the uterus or up into the tubes.
