Was listening to Queen's "Who wants to love forever" and got me thinking.
Surely, if we spread love then this will live on in our loved ones and a ripple effect will occur; the love we gave to them will be passed on and so on...and therefore we will live forever in the heart's of mankind?
It then striked me that this is similar to the hypothesis proposed by Dawkins that "memes" are radily spread through a population (well slightly a wee bit more complicated) and therfore could it be said that love is the greatest meme?

i'm a non secular Scientist - (specific - it is quite a faith) - and whilst the religion DOES believe in heaven (yet no longer hell) - i'm no longer in all probability so constructive approximately heaven or "the different component" or any of that. We tremendously plenty believe God to be a ability - and It does not choose or punish. they're happy with me putting around - and permit me to be a member - even nonetheless i'm not sure with regards to the heaven element. So - i'm certainly no longer there for the immortality. yet I DO like the picnics - and the community component of all of it! Namaste!

If a person waters their flowers & lawn, they stay alive. When a person feeds & loves their animals, they live longer. When a person is loved, and "knows" they are loved, they live longer. Forever? No, but longer? Most certainly!

I don't want to live forever. I love Queen, but they really started to suck after The Game. That was their last good album.

Hmm...love allow us to live forever...
A bad relationship choice can make it feel like forever.
But I think we can live on in the memories of those who knew and loved us so maybe it can.

a good question, if strange...
just a thought: hitler spread hatred and terror and he will certainly be remembered for ever, so can evil make you live for ever too?? i sincerely hope this side of the coin doesnt find many takers, though

Your problem with this is...religion, as long as there are gods that we are supposed to love but with different faiths that make us hate, what you talk about will never happen.
If you want the world to be 'as one' then you need to get rid of all gods and religions.

Love is good knowledge, this good knowledge is permitted into heaven, bad knowledge is not, so if you build a life of bad things, you will enter heaven like you entered here...a weak little infant.

Did I miss something................. doesn't love already exist FOREVER - after all, my parents love me, I love my kids, and this will continue forever with every generation as it has done before!!!!
