I would like to give you a sensible answer but I think you need to ask the question first. Did you get a ticket for this or were you just lucky and got away with it? Did you lose your license or what? Your question is more of a statement. My boyfriend is a truck driver as well and if he were to get a speeding ticket such as this he would lose his CDL. So what is your queston.

You really should expect too much from the sarcastic audience here tonight.
As I understand things 100mph+ is a ban. That said the courts are not out to make people jobless especially the family breadwinner.
I would do 2 things. 1 see a solicitor about about entering mitigating circumstances. 2 see you boss and have a frank discussion about other jobs in the company for a while. If they generally value a reliable worker they may wish to keep you on at some level.
Best of luck...or should I say just better luck. I bet some other the clever clever Muppets who answered have a points build up too.
Personally I wish the police spent as much time catching burglers as the do motorists who make a mistake.

You are a selfish immature moron who needs to get a life in the real world.
What do you think would happen to you and the rest of your life if you killed someone at that sort of speed.
You say you are not a Pedo or Burglar but if you killed a child driving at irresponsible speeds like that, you will be hated for the rest of your life.
Do you have a little place in your head that makes you think about the consequences of your actions, if not you need serious help.

well all i can say get a good solicitor and make up as many excuses as you can and stick to one... i know this might sound a bit nasty but have you any people in your family that have special needs???? wink wink... it does help if you can bring something together in that line.. i have someone in my family that i had to take to physio on that day i got caught (111.6mph) and was looking at a ban probably 6 months so i took a 500 pound fine and 6 points it was better that getting the ban i can tell you so good luck and may the force be with you...

Depends what the police are like in that area.Truck driver myself and got caught 10mph over limit in wales.Instead of points i paid £90 and spent a day on a drive awareness course with police

Another 2 points, thanks! Are you positive you have been caught? My bf speeds all the time in his car so i got him a road angel but has hardly ever been caught without using it and when he has been it's in built up areas like in 40 mph.

If the police actually pulled you over then you are indeed banged to rights - you'll need to go to court and beg for your licence.
If its with a camera shot only you can argue it. There's way but I'm not putting it on here. pm only.

buddy doing 103 great buzz but not mature no way at that speed you dont have the luxury of one mistake to save you remember the poor sod that you hit will travel at that speed and more what chance have they you had your fun now see sense for all concerned please
