I used to be a runt, i was told i would never get passed 5'4 5'5. up until two years ago i sprouted. I was 5'5 when i got with my boyfriend. now two years later i am almost as tall as him. he is 5'10 but he slouches alot so when we stand next to eachother i appear taller.
I HATE THAT I want to wear heels, i love heels, but all the cute heels are 3 to 4 inches tall. that would make me like 5'11 an inch taller but the way my boyfriend stands i would be 4 inches taller!
Am i too tall? Or do alot of people my height wear heels?

I'm also 5'7" and my guy's about 5'11"... my solution is usually to wear half-height heels, about an inch and a half or two inches tall. That's enough to give you the sexy high-heels walk and add definition to your legs, but not so tall that you tower over the room and/or have sore feet by the end of the night. I also like the fact that they don't make my pants look too short if I'm wearing my pretty shoes with pants.
With that said, I do own a couple of tall (3.5" ish) pairs and still wear them when I want to feel larger than life and draw a lot of second looks. If you really love the high heels and don't want to stop halfway, just wear them! Maybe your guy will start to realize he needs to stand tall and proud when he's with you.

Honey flaunt your height. I'm 5'7 too and I don't think twice about where 4 inch heels because I have nice legs and I'm not going to let my height limiit my shoe collection. Look at Mariah Carey, she is 5'10 - 5'11 and she doesn't where anything under a 5 inch stilleto heel.

Honey I am 5'11 and wear heels if I feel like it. Too tall according to who? I don't think that there is a human alive who dictates how tall women "should" be.
My man is 6'4 and we both love being taller than everyone else.
And get that guy to a chiropractor before he ruins his spine. Good posture is critical to health!

I'm 5'8 and wear 3-4 inch heels all the time. To work, formal wear, and with my husband who is 5'9. Don't get into the Tom Cruise couldn't handle Nicole Kidman being taller and was not allowed to wear them with him drama, if your boyfriend is confident with himself enough it shouldn't bother him, it doesn't bother my husband actually when i don't wear them he thinks I'm humoring him and tells me to put on heels because I'm more confident and sexy in them he says I strut(I walk really differently) when I'm wearing heels which he thinks is sexy too.

Nope. I'm 5'8" and wear heels. I even met a guy that i dated for awhile with heels on and he was only 5'4 to begin with. Men love them!

for specific you're actually not too tall . fashions are taller and placed on them. significant is which you walk shop on them . You seem extraordinarily, so which you will get seems with and without heels. placed on them in case you like your seem with extreme heels. a extraordinarily woman on stilettos seems so super.

I am 5'11" and I still wear heels. Who cares how tall you are and how tall he is? It's 2006, just do what you want.

From a man stand point of view... at least from mine.. I am 5'7'' and I used to have a girlfriend 5'7''. When she dressed up, she wore high hells... at least 3 inches. Yeah, she looked way too tall for me.. but then when we danced to soft music... I would lean my head on her chest... I loved it! and she looked so hot..! and every other men were drooping.. of envy... Good times!
