They all wear out in the end. Just get a decent quality at a decent price. No need to buy a new expensive tire.

Right, this may take me a while but bear with me.
Bridgestone and Pirelli both make tyres that go onto race cars and both make a huge range of diffrent tread patterns, diffrent compunds and so on so there is no simple answer that one is better than the other.
The chance you'll be able to tell much diffrence on a Honda jazz is quite small and the guy at the garage was trying to sell you what they have in stock.
Bridgestones are not rare tyres, it's rubbish and just a sign of them making sure you don't go elsewhere.
The problem is all tyre hold the road diffrently, the give slight diffrences in grip, handle corners better, etc so you should not be mixing tyres at all.
Every manufacturer will tell you not to mix tyres of diffrent brands, they don't even want you to mix tyres from diffrent ranges they sell.
I personally wouldn't even put a worn tyres and a new one on the same axel (back or front) but that comes down to what you can afford.
I would get the tyre off and put a Bridgestone on of the same rating as the other three, a good tyre company will know what you want and anyway, it tells you on the side along with the size.
Driving around town with what you have would be ok enough but i don' think they gave you 'best advice' when they put it on.
I would get it changed, that little bit of rubber is one of the most important things on your car, forget about the interior, the fluffy toys, the air freshners and put it right.
You need those new boots more this time of year with all the bad weather than any other.
If it makes you feel any happier, the tyres for my Porsche cost £250 each. (sob)

Not a good idea to mix makes, try and stick with bridgestone, look in yellow pages, they are common as well , tyres. Put the pirelli in the boot and use as a spare.

Don't worry about it hun, if there are speed bumps where you live your tracking will be off in no time, and they'll wear down at the same rate.
It's all Emperor's new clothes, as long as they are legal and safe, the differences in performance are only noticeable on a rally track, if you just use your car on the road, and drive somewhere around the limits, you'll never notice a thing.

Pirelli's are better tires.
Bridgestones are rare? Never heard of that. They have them everywhere.
