Yes I had a cat named after him. He was created By Gilbert Shelton not R. Crumb as I had previously thought.
I found Robert Crumb's book with all his characters was published. I saw it on a bargain table at Borders. I was short money and when I went back someone else got it.
I just found it on line. Great stuff. Who could forget characters like Micky Rat,Fritz the Cat,Zippy the pinhead.The fabulous Freak Brothers who had Fat Freddie and his Cat.Binky Brown meets the Holy Virgin Mary.( You had to be a victim of Catholic school to appreciate that one.).Man that was some amazingly funny stuff. All came out in the late 60's and early 70's.
