The 1899 Barber half dollar had a mintage of 5,538,846 and is not a scarce date, the mint marked ones are scarcer. The mint mark is on the reverse below the eagle. The Barber coins were well used and wore quickly. Most do not grade very high, the ones that do grade mint state are worth several hundred dollars and up. Regular circulated 1899, are worth from $13.50 in grade good, $38.50 in fine, to around $155.00 in extra fine. Grade good is a coin where dates and legends are readable but liberty is worn off the head band. Grade fine is liberty in head band readable but not sharp.Extra fine is liberty bold and the ribbon distinct. hope this helps.

The value all depends on the grade even though it is ungraded. The 1875 is a scarce date. It is worth considerable even in lower grades. VF probably at least $3000. Uncirculated, a lot.
