I baught a skirt, charcoal sort of colour with a taupe pinstrip in it, i have a sparkly gold top that goes with it, but what colour/type shoes should i get and what about pantyhose? (note: it's on average -5celcious at night here)

It depends on where you are going. I would go with a closed toe either way for that weather.
Example:
If it was an office function, I would say tone it down with charcoal shoes to match the skirt.
If it was a weekend party, I would say gold shoes to match the top for a festive look.
Either way, I would go with a darker hose. I think it looks more formal than nude.

Gold shoes or charcoal-ish although that might not look as good. Just some tan or black panty hose will look good although something with a little glitter might be good too! :)
