As others have said, your seeds need water and fertilizer to sprout. Now you COULD spread cow manure over your sweater and jump into the kiddie pool at the rec center, but that might lead to a 'misunderstanding'.
I suggest that you stand downwind from Rosie O'Donnel and her lover while they eat at Taco Bueno...the gases will provide sufficient fertilization (including minor elements) to get your seed started.
Then stand outside of John Stamos's house with your hands in your pockets and squirm around a bit...he will hose you off and provide the water you need.

make sure the ground is well cultivated first, otherwise if its not deep enough you will end up with stunted birds-like midget budgies!id try throwing out the leftovers from the bottom of a cage, its usually a better recipe for mixed colours of birds..good-luck with this,as i only get mice!at-least you can teach the midget budgies to pole dance! :)

Your pet zebra ate the seeds and replaced them with sugar sprinkles that he stole from Baskin-Robbins.

You didn't water them enough. Give them a drink of vodka and they will grow into beautiful carrots.

You should do some exercise so you sweat. The moisture should get them to grow.

Not enough soil in your pocket.
Walk around in the rain and see if that helps.
