Ok, I have a desktop computer that connects to a router and I have a laptop that connects via wireless card. I have no problem getting onto the internet, but I can't share my files and printer. I've tried the network wizard and I've tried just going into my connections and enabling file/printer sharing but I still can't get it to work.

Do you have the workgroup names set right? Right click on a folder and see if there is a sharing tab also! You cant share if the folder isnt set to share. You can also simply right click on the drive in my computer and share the entire drive.

Check the permissions on othe folder and the printer you shared. Right click on the folder go into permissions and make sure you have added the Administrator group. Also make sure you have added the administrator group in the security tab. Try this and it should work.
