The best and cheapest way is by bank transfer.
You need to obtain from Brazil
The Name and and address of the person you are transfering the funds to .
Plus the bank account no.
The name and address of the Bank
The branch number
The Router no
The bank changes differ from each bank.
The cahrges will be about $30.
The Bank will ask you who pays the bank charges , you or the receiver..
I transfered once, some money to Aruba, with Western Union , the person never got the money, I gave up chasing after six months.
With Western Union the ADVANTAGE is suppose to be that the receiver can collect the money the same day. Also the person must collect the money in Cash , which could be interesting, but could cause security problems.

Western Union is the best way because you can go to any grocery store and do it and they can send the money to be there in the next day or the same day of course to do it for the same day is more expensive but their rates are rasonable. But if you have an acct. in a bank in Brasil and there is a branch where you do it too .
