im worried becuase I think im ovulating right now becuase of how much mucus is down there its sticky also...I just want to know should we be hveing sex every day or every other...we had sex lst nght but not yet today can this cause me to not get preg???

When I got pregnant in March with this baby, I had sex every other day. I had read in my medical journal that if you get too many sperm in there, the good ones won't be able to swim through all the bad ones and may make conceiving more difficult. It worked for me. Sweetie, one thing to keep in mind. A woman's egg can last for 1day where else a man's sperm can last for 3 days. So you can start by getting a ovulating kit, you can reuse this up to 3 times, usually. If not, you can try the traditional way. When you have your day 1 menses, count til the day 14, for average woman, day 14 is when the ovulations are happening. But, 12,13,14,15,16,17...are days you should be having sex, because you won't know when the egg is released. Other dates, are quite impossible to get pregnant, 1% maybe. So yeah, do have sex on the right days, its wastefull to do on the wrong days. I hope you will be concieve. Lord be watching you.

No, sperm can live up to 4 days. There is no harm in having sex every day and it may increase your chances. Having sex every other day is just as good and chances of conceiving are still very likley. So do what you feel like doing. If your in the mood for sex every day than jump on it LOL. Have fun and good luck!

Actually for his part, don't have sex but about every 18- 24 hours or so during your ovulating times. Otherwise his sperm count actually can go DOWN, and that's certainly not what you want!

You can get preg. by having sex one day or everyother day. When you ovulating is the best. You are going to get preg.

You need to be having sex BEFORE and DURING the time you begin to ovulate so you can have a steady stream of sperm available in the fallopian tubes to meet the egg as it makes its way to the uterus.

I have read everyday, but when I asked my OB, he told me every other day because sperm generally live 2 days and men need about 36-48 hours for their sperm count to rebuild. If you have sperm more often than every other day, the concentration of sperm will be less.

You can have sex every two days and you would still have a chance, but remember the term. The more the better.

Every other night that way if theres a night you can't have sex the sperm will still live until the next night!
