that sounds like mold to me. take a cloth and pour bleach on it ( wear rubber gloves while doing this) and clean the rubber strips off with this. you may have to do this at least once a week. good luck

Spray 409 with bleach, until stains are gone. Be sure to wash the tub really well afterwords.

hi not sure if it will work but i would put washing powder in the bottom and put in some hot water and leave it and rinse after an hour or so. i d this with lots of things and worked so far
