It looks like the silver specks on top are gone and no cleaner will remove the stain. It almost looks rubbed off. Has anyone been able to clean something like this or do you know if I can replace the ceramic section of the stove?

I have one of those stoves. just take a razor blade and scrape everything off the stovetop that you can. Then use this cleaner called "CERAMABRITE" it's available at Lowes and other home improvement stores that sell appliances. This clewaner works like car wax. you rub it on, let it dry, then buff it off. The Ceramabrite and a little elbow grease will make your stovetop look just like new again. Trust Me! Good Luck!!!

Take a piece of sand paper and rub on the burn, then take some kind of ceramic cleanser and clean it.That should work,i know it works on ceramic tile sinks.
