Called "Out Of This World"? It wasn't a cartoon, but think it used to come on Saturday mornings....because I remember watching it. And the girl had some kind of crystal ball or something, and I think either she was an alien, or her mom was. lol All I can really remember the show is the song they played when it came on, and it was something like Would you like to swing on a star. Anyway, just reminiscing about some of my old favorite t.v. shows, and wondering if any of you happened to remember this one in particular? It would really be neat if they would put it out on DVD.

I remember it....I loved that show. The Alien was her father and she found out on like her 14th birthday that she had special powers and that he was alien. she talked to him through the Crystal Star thing. I also remember that she could stop time and then by touching a person the would wake up. It was a finger thing to stop and a clap to start. The mom is the same woman whom played the mom on the Disney Channel show "Even Stevens" and she was in "Saturday Night Fever". Ohmigod I can't believe that I remember all that I also remember the show that came on after it was called "Small Wonder" about a family with a robot daughter.

as a matter of fact I was telling someone about it the other day and they never heard of it.
she was half alien and her father was an alien that used to talk to her from some kind of crystal cube.
It wasn't my favorite show but it was one of the ones that was the least annoying on t.v. at the time

YES! It was one of my favorites! Her mom was human, her dad was the alien (so she was half alien) and she talked to him through a crystal. I always wanted to freeze time like her.
Would you like to swing on a star, carry moonbeams home in a jar, and be better off than you are - or would you rather go to Earth?

i hate to admit this but i watched it too and loved it im middle aged now and a dvd would bring back lots of happy memorys for me. or maybe not lol

I DEF REMEMBER THIS SHOW.... EVIE USE TO TALK TO HER DAD THROUGH THAT CUBE THING & STOP TIME BY PUTTING HER FINGERS TOGETHER.... NOW SHE'S IN SOME TAMPON COMMERCIAL. LOL
