What would you do if you know your supervisor is having a fling with one of your co-workers and he can get fired for it. The problem in this situation is supervisor is being unfair to the other girls and giving more advantages to this girl he is having a fling with. Its not easy for me to go and talk to my supervisors boss, because my supervisor has painted an angel like image infront of him. Would you wait and collect evidence or would you go straight to the top. My supervisor doesn’t do anything he just passes his work to us. Then the girl who is one of our friends, she wont openly admit they are having a fling, but plays it like he likes her she doesn’t like him….she is thriving on attention.

Very delicate situation you're dealing with here. We are currently dealing with this at my corporation right now and believe me it can get ugly. You MUST have evidance before throwing any acusations to management. You are dealing with peoples jobs, livelyhood, and reputations. Even if it is obvious to everyone in your position that they are having a fling if there is no concreat evidence then you could lose your job as well. Try to find a manager that you trust and talk to them privately about your concerns. This could alert them to a possible situation and allow them to observe the two and see if they think there is grounds for transfer or release.

It seems like she is getting exactly wut she deserves by being black mailed. She should have never got involved with a co-worker, especially if she is married she had no business having an affair in the work place when knowingly that these things can happen. It will come back and bit u in the ***. As for u it really isn't any of ur business wut goes on between them it is there problem. The only thing u can do is go to the person ahead of ur boss and let them be aware of this guy's attitude and rudeness behavior and that ur boss isn't doing anything to change it and that it is causing stress among the other employees and hope that it gets addressed. But if it doesn't then consider another job or work in another department.

I would bring it directly to HR, and as quickly as possible.

I dealt with this situation once...In fact, I stood up for the people who were having the affair, and told my coworkers that it was all in their imagination. It was devastaing to me when I found out it was true, but even worse, it tore the department into opposing factions, which made work a horrible place to be. The company will be better off if they can make this problem go away.

Your HR department should be capable of handling an investigation, even if the only evidence you bring them is rumors.

I would not report this to anyone as it is highly unlikely that you will gain anything. In fact you could find that you are the one who suffers. While I appreciate the fact that you are not happy with the situation the chances are that this will come to an end and the girl will need your friendship. Do and say nothing it is not worth the aggravation.

1st would you be alright if she did her portion of her work? would you feel the same way if it was you? If you answer honestly any one of these questions: go to the top and resolve the entire situation

I'd anonymously rat them out to their spouses, or if they're not married, to their boyfriend and/or girlfriend!!!
