I purchased his ring already and he haven't made the attempt to get me one. We went to the jewelry store today to get an exchange for his ring size and he didn't even try to get me a ring. I'm thinking about calling the whole thing off.

How do you know he hasn't got one already? Can he afford one? As others have said, he could be surprising you. The ring is just a symbol. Is it really that important? If it's important to you, then ask him and stop assuming. If he has bought one your fears are ended. If he hasn't bought one I still wouldn't worry about it. You wouldn't be the only married woman with no wedding ring. The ability to get over difficulties is what makes a strong marriage. There will always be problems. Think of this as your first opportunity to grow as a married couple.

Are you sure he hasn't bought you one?
If not, then don't get married today.
Not because of the ring or the lack of a ring, but because he should have known that it would upset you this way. If you start out on this note it will only spell disaster.
Talk to him. If he's worth it, just tell him the truth.
Without truth your relationship is doomed!
Ask him if he likes his ring. Wait for an answer and they ask him if he got you one already or was he waiting so you could pick it out yourself? See how he answers. If he acts stupid with "What ring? I didn't know I was suppose to get you a ring." then dump his immature butt. He might surprise you with his answer in a good way.
Just don't get married until you solve this issue.

Do you know for SURE that he didn't buy you a ring? Maybe he is trying to surprise you? Maybe he cannot afford the one he thinks you deserve? Talk about it. If he isn't enthusiastic about it, ask him if he wants to marry you at all. It will be be a lot less expensive to end it now than to get divorced later.

He may want to surprise you with a ring....DOES HE HAVE YOUR RING SIZE? If he does then do not count it out. Also he may not have the money to get the ring....
If I were you I would assume the best until proven wrong.

HE COULD HAVE ALREADY GOTTEN YOU A RING. IT COULD BE YOUR SURPRISE. WHEN YOU GOT ENGAGED DID HE ASK YOU AND PUT A RING ON YOUR FINGER? IF HE DID MAYBE IT WAS A SET. OR MAYBE HE PICKED THEM UP AT THE SAME TIME. EVEN AFTE THE WEDDING VOWS AND WAHT NOT ARE SAID YOU STILL HAVE TO SIGN THE PAPERS SO IF HE DOESNT HAVE ONE FOR YOU AND YOU FEEL IN YOUR HEART THAT THAT IS WRONG AND INCONSIDERATE OF HIM NOT TO DO (WHICH YOU WOULD BE RIGHT) THEN YOU DONT HAVE TO SIGN THE PAPERS AFERWARDS.

How can you get married today with YOUR ring!?! You can't. Its tradition!!! He is a loser, and I don't think he wants to marry you at all. I would call it off at least until he got MY ring and I would return his!!! Your suppose to have matching sets!!!! He should know this. I am sooooooo sorry about your day.
