you need to measure your bust and its 36. next measure your breasts. say it is 37, then you are an A. 38, you are a B. 39, C and so on. I hope this helped you.

You have typing error.

Your bust is size 36 0r 38, it cannot be both. This is the measurement around the chest.

Your one breast is Cup size "A" and other side is Cup "C"( do not know what the size is but cup size can only be different). You put your breasts in the Cups of the bra and Cups hold up your breast in place when you strap it up.

Cup sizes come as A,B,C,D.......so say it is not same, you do not want a bra with different cup size, you will buy a bra with, your bust size and the larger of the two cups then you will find the foam rubber cup that will fit over your smaller breast. then you will put the bra on. This way you will have symmetry restored and you will be able to breath well and function well also.

Self massaging the smaller breast may be able to bring it up to the other size but it will take a while and does not always work for all and goes back when you stop the process.

A plastic surgeon can also help but wait until you are done nursing your children , the process may equalise them any way.

They do make different foam rubber cups in different sizes, say "A" to "C", "A" to "D"...... in any increments. You have to go when the shops are not full of customers and talk to a female clerk there. They will meassure you correctly, msn had lots of article from time to time on how to meassure your bra size.

Bra is eassy to find, cup will be at speciality shop only. You can always make your own padding, from cotton and cloth, by using old bra. Most big cities in India will have few shop that caters to your need.

PS:

Most people have unequal breast, to some extent.

Step 1: Get measuring tape and put on your best fitting bra, meaning your most supportive. Do not use a leisure or stretch bra for this.

Step 2: Measure around your ribs just below your breasts. Add four to this number if you get an even number and five if you get an odd. If you get a half number, like I always seem to, round up to the next whole number and then add four or five, whichever is appropriate. This is your BAND measurement.

Step 3: Measure around the fullest part of your bust. This is the part where that stretch bra negatively impacts your efforts. Do not pull the tape tight. You want an accurate number and less tight means best fit. If you are pulling yourself in, you have the tape too tight and will not get the right cup size.

Step 4: Subtract the band measurement from the bust measurement. The number in inches indicates your cup size. Example: If your band is 44" and your bust is 52", the difference is 8". See the chart below

4 = D Cup
5 = E Cup
6 = F Cup
7 = G Cup
8 = H Cup
9 = I Cup
10 = J Cup
11 = K Cup

I think that you should go to Victoria Secret and get a free measurement! If it turns out that you are wearing the wrong size it could cause several problems for you later in the future. And as far as I am concerned I don't want a back back or something like that because I wore the wrong bra size!

Saw an Oprah episode the other day that said most gals are wearing the wrong size! My g/f was always overflowing(looks like a push-up) and I told her she was a D not a C. I learned this from my late wife during her pregnancies!

Measure your chest just under your breasts. That is the # part.

Then measure around the largest part of your breasts. The difference between the first # and the second # will give you your cup size

Example: if you measure 36 below your breasts and 39 around your breasts then you are a 36C. (one letter for each number difference)

Any Victoria's Secret will measure you for free.
