If the relationship was good befor pregnancy he is probably just scared all you can do is give him his space. If its time he needs wait until your ultra sound and bring him with you. My husband wasn't too involved either until he seen our little baby (both times) then he was very involved. I think seeing the baby makes it more real and exciting. Good luck

Listen hun, pregnancy is tough enough without having to deal with extra crap from others(including ur boyfriend) U need to be around supportive and loving ppl that will lend a hand and help u out whenever nessecary, giving u enough love and affection for that lil baby to feel from inside u.
When u decided to have this baby, ur boyfriends thought and opinions ceased to matter....because from now on that baby comes first, and if he doesnt want to be a part of it, then better he leave now, than later when the baby will miss whatever presence he feels from him, and for ur childs sake u cant afford to be insistant on participation from someone that doesnt want to.
I recently had a baby(a gorgeous son who is the light of my life)and my husband was my #1 supporter, i couldnt imagine having going through it without him.he helped out and was there for me, and made everything a whole lot easier. U deserve to have that too....all pregnant women do. If u think about everything ur body will go through, changes, movement, doc appts, prenatal care, sore muscles, craps, headaches, moodiness, and whatever else women get, and i didnt even mention what happens after u bring the baby home, and while u might convince urself that u can handle this pregnancy on ur own with no involovment from ur man, about when u bring that baby home, u will need help. trust me....U WILL NEED HELP! its not an easy job by far, im exhausted most of the time....and i have help from my significant other....u need that too....dnt deny urself that.
But the choice is urs, just remember to take good care of urself, go to all ur doc appt, take ur prenatal vitamins, and communicate with ur doctors and midwives....good luck and congratulations on ur baby

I would try and get him to go to all of your doctors appointments and once he hears the baby's heartbeat then hopefully he will get more excited. I bought a fetal doppler so my husband and I can listen to the baby's heartbeat all the time at home that way he gets excited about the baby.

He's nervous. Give him some time. If he's still acting like an ***, then leave him. You and your baby deserve better. Congrats and good luck. :)
