25x^2 - 70x + 49 = 0
(5x - 7)(5x - 7) = 0
5x - 7 = 0 (Add 7 to both sides)
5x = 7 (Divide both sides by 5)
x = 7/5

Factoring: (5x-7)^2

Oh, and if that equals 0, which would be another perfectly reasonable approach, then x = 1.4.

Need more context though, really.

what about it? That means nothing without more info. Do you want the roots? Use the quadratic formula. Do you want to differentiate it? Do you want to integrate it? Do you want to factor it?

Math isn't just equations its understanding.
