Wear something comfortable and stylish but not to high fashion. And the best thing to wear is a nice smile.

I grew up going to the country club with my family. It's not such a big deal. A simple skirt or dress slacks with a dressy sweater or blouse would be fine. Nothing low cut or too revealing and no high slit in a skirt. Better to err on the side of prim and proper. Have a great time!

Nice slacks and a sweater, pant suit, skirt and sweater. Call the country club ahead of time and ask if they have a dress code. A nice dress and heels. People don't dress up as much as they used to but the club sounds ritzy. Do you know his step mother well enough to call and politely say I have never been to the country club and I am not sure how to dress? Your boyfriend may be able to advise you too.

Doesn't sound like you're going to have much fun--but--dress nicely, I know this is going to sound ewww but you can't go wrong with black dress pants or skirt. If it's chilly wear a nice sweater (not low cut or tight), or a shirt and jacket (again, nothing revealing). Boy am I ever glad I'm an old married person, I'll be in my sweats and fuzzy slippers stuffing my face!! Good Luck Hon!!!

Wow sounds like fun.. But definetly nerve splitting I imagine..
I know what I would wear is a Very Pretty Sweater, Slacks,
You want to be yourself but yet a little classy, You want to be comfortable, yet elegant.
Good luck on what you wear and your dinner..

I would defintely wear a nice dress or pantsuit. No jeans. I would wear something in the fall colors, brown or gold. Wear something fancy yet sexy, not revealing. Good Luck, I am sure you will do great!

If I were you, ill wear a silvery top, maybe a twinset and then a not-so-formal-pants. wearing jeans is a no no... a pair of velvet pants could then be very dressy. jazz it up with a nice pair of boots with a good heel height...remember, one way to impress is to be simple...with style...

Whatever you have that you feel is appropriate. Most country club people I know are conservative, but I am sure that they would prefer you are comfortable to being fake.
I am sure if it is clean it will be fine.
