I look at my reflection as it gathers in the teardrops
That gather at my feet

I fell for self-deception thinking you were what you're not
Illusions that deceive
You find out they're just dreams
That fall apart
So fly away sweet sparrow

With all the bad

I gave my love while knowing that good things never last
My hope never faded
While your love grew more jaded

And don't fear getting hurt
Just listen to the words
Inside your heart

Carry freedom on your wings
And the happiness it brings
I pray you'll find
And I hope you take these lessons
And you learn much from their truth

I think it's beautiful. It plants a picture in my head and in many ways i can relate to it, i think anyone could. That's the beauty in poetry and music, people can take whatever they need from it and connect it with whatever feelings they have or problems they may be going through. Keep it up!! I love poetry

i think its really good it obvioulsy has a lot of feeling in it. kinda nice to read as it gave alittle clarity on how i feel at the moment. u got some good skillls.
its a bit of both but if u could get it released as a song it would be brilliant!!

its sounds preety good keep up the writting,could make you some cashola.stick to poems make a book of them then try to sell it to recording studios.be persistant.
